This fun activity helps students practice approximating the value of irrational square roots. This no-prep resource is perfect for building fluency with square root estimation. Students will also enjoy coloring a pennant design based on their answers.

Students can choose their own colors for the coloring page. The pattern will be the same, so it is still easy to grade, but the variety in colors will engage your students in creating their own unique pennant.
