Solving Equations with Variables on Both Sides Guided Notes
CLICK HERE IF YOU WOULD RATHER PURCHASE THIS ON TPT
These guided notes on solving equations with variables on both sides focus on understanding equations with one solution, no solution, and infinite solutions. Students will practice solving equations and creating their own.
These in-depth guided notes contain:
- 1 title page
- 10 pages of guided notes
- 2 pages of additional practice (15 problems)
- 1 lined page for extra notes
- Complete answer key
Students should already have an understanding of how to solve equations with variables on one side, including using the distributive property and combining like terms. To make sense of these type of equations decimals and fractions are not used in the guided notes section, integers are used. However, in the additional practice, 6 of the problems use fractions and decimals.
Formatted for back-to-back printing with page numbers. Teacher can create a packet for student organization.

I love how this resource broke down each step. It was really helpful for my students especially since so many of them were lacking this skill from learning loss.
This was very successful in the classroom.
Since this is a digital download no refunds will be given, but feel free to contact me with any questions. 😊
