7th Grade Math Probability Activity | Real-World Spinner Design Worksheet
Engaging Probability Activity for 7th Grade Math
Bring probability to life with this interactive activity designed for 7th grade math! Students will create custom spinners using given probabilities expressed as fractions, decimals, and percents. They’ll divide the spinners into sections and color each part to accurately represent the data.
In the second half of the activity, students take on the role of designing a carnival prize spinner. Using prize values and target probabilities, they determine how to set up the spinner, calculate expected profit, and evaluate their results. Finally, they make recommendations to increase earnings—applying math reasoning to thoughtful decision-making!
